Duck Tales - Family Comes First!
This is a free platformer game for the ZX Spectrum 48K, made by fans for fans.
Magica De Spell, an evil witch, kidnaps Scrooge's nephews and Webby, demanding all Scrooge's fortune and his lucky dime for ransom. After receiving a letter with conditions for children's return from Magica, Scrooge decides to spend all his money on finding his nephews and punishing the evil witch instead. Giro builds a new, super-powerful computer that helps to collect information from agents Scrooge has sent around the world. And the faithful pilot Launchpad is ready to take Scrooge to any corner of the planet.
Help Scrooge to free the kids from captivity and also multiply his fortune many times ;)
The game is available in English and Ukrainian and is designed to run on ZX Spectrum 48k. Both versions are available in two variants:
1 - with an intro (game loading time approx. 9 min)
2 - without an intro (game loading time is about 4.5 min)

Very nice and technically clean implementation of the NES version with fresh, new ideas. Great idea to show the story of the game in the loading screen to bridge the loading time. Esto está hecho con la Churrera... no habeis ni cambiado los fx.
This engine was once based on churrera 3.99.02, but has long since outgrown it to the point where it became a separate engine. You can disassemble and check. We plan to release our engine as open source in 2024, and of course it will be noted that it has some roots from Churrera 3.99.02. But first we need to remove the Duck Tales specific code from it so that it looks more like an open source engine ready for building other projects and not just an open source Duck Tales game.
